He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Quenzer and Leona Quenzer (Mitsch); his nephew Mark Sakelaris; and his great-nieces, Kirsten Moore, Grace Watson and Mary Lee Quenzer (Dietz).
He is survived by: his children, Dwight of Laramie and Kimberly Dahl (Marvin) of Dickinson; his grandchildren, Michelle (Tyler), Rachel (Fritz III), Audrey and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Molly, Sawyer and Hayes; and his siblings, David Quenzer (Pat) of Forsyth, Duane Quenzer (Launa) of Baker, Gladys Rabe (David) of Battleground, Shirley Sakelaris (Chris) and Linda Moore (Lee) of Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Concordia Lutheran Church for the help of lighting the cross.
