He is survived by: his wife Linda of Florence; his son Chandler Payton (Christine) of Missoula; his grandchildren, Roenen and Neve Payton; his sisters, Barbara Hendrickson (Steve) of Florida and Cindie Payton of Minnesota; his uncles, Lowell Zitzloff of Minnesota and Ray Zitzloff (Aunt Judy) of Florida; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
