It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Arneson in Fallon, Montana, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Madler and Olga Madler (Tronstad); her husband Clarence Arneson; and her siblings, Carol Brush, Larry Madler (John J. Halmans), Jerry Madler, Alvin Madler and Raymond Madler.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Halmans (Donna) of Baker, Jerome Halmans (Heidi) of Weirsdale, FL, Jeff Halmans of Baker and JoAnna Williams (Tennyson) of Hysham; her grandchildren, Logan Kotar, Cassie Halmans, Joey Halmans (Faye), Brandan Kotar (Kaitlyn), Ashley Halmans, Nathan Halmans, Ophelia Nacey and Helaine Halmans; her brother Rodney Madler; and her former husband John J. Halmans. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevenson Funeral Home (207 2nd Street Southwest, Baker, MT 59313). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church - Baker (210 W Center Ave, Baker, MT 59313).
