He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lester and Fern Lester (Wetherelt); his former wife Charleen Lester; and his siblings, Tom, Merle Lester, Annie Tysver and Elsie Carstens.
He is survived by: his wife Sammie Bieber (Hurley Bieber) of Fairview, MT; his children, Shane Lester of Newburg, ND, Ginger Podoll (David) of Fullerton, ND and Shelly Obergfell (Jay) of Fairview, MT; his stepchildren, Don Bieber of Petersburg, AK, Duane Bieber (Karen) of Sidney, MT, Diane Siefert (Jeff) of Barrow, AK and Denise Massey of Sidney, MT.; his sisters, Thelma Vrana, Upton, Ida Harmon of Williston, ND, Hazel Brossman (Dan) and Lander; and his in-laws, Renee Best Officer and Mike Hurley (Mary).
Memorial Contribution. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Martha's Place – future Hospice House of Eastern Montana.
