He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Malkowski and Mary Malkowski (Hlebichuk); his wife Kathryn Petryszak; his siblings, Helen Clement and David Malkowski; and his great grandchild Benedict Pio Malkowski.
He is survived by: his son Roger Malkowski (Kathy) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Ryan (John), Kasey (Darnyl) and Qwain; his son Gary Malkowski (Patti) of Dickinson; his grandchildren, Erin Belza (Kevin), Nathan, Michael (Allison) and Kari Gaca (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Kadyn (Alexis), Danyka (Jayd), Dawsyn, Ella, Blaise, Eden, Anastasia and Cecelia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Stevenson Funeral Home. Visitation was held on Friday, March 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church (2123 US-85, Belfield, ND 58627). A Mass was held on Friday, March 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
