Lyla Crabtree Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyla Crabtree of Fairfield, Montana, who passed away on November 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schmautz and Lestina "Tiny" Schmautz (Bowman); her sister Patty; her brother-in-law Nick Cetto; and her brother Allen Schmautz.
She is survived by: her close friends, Kingsley and Chester; and her children, Shelley Batson (Nate) of Fairfield, Shari Dolan (Patrick) of Great Falls, Chuck Crabtree (Karrie) of Choteau and Joeleen Durocher (Jody) of Choteau. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren (plus 4 spouses), and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and because of mom's love for animals and especially her two long time companions, Kingsley and Chester, who both proceeded her in death, donations can be made in her honor to Bright Eyes Pet and Rehab, PO Box 1498 Choteau, MT 59422.
