He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Heagy and Cleora Heagy; his wife Beverly Ann Ely; his children, Lori Haynes, Scott Heagy (Jackie), Dawnell Long (Gary), Brian Heagy (Brenda), Kelly Raad (George) and Michiel Hadley (Bart); his brother Donald Heagy (Marlene); his son-in-law Scott Haynes; and his grandson Nicholas Long. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 31. 5 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Fairfield Community Hall, or Ernie Thorn Fairfield Swimming Pool.
