He is survived by: his parents, William Slaney and Hazel Robbe Slaney; his wife Sherry of Eureka; his children, Amber Canite of Hauser, ID and Stephen Casteel of Fairfield, CA; his siblings, Marilyn Mason of Eureka, Vicki Barrett (Mike) of Spokane, WA, Flori Benner of Eureka and Dallas Johnston (Linda) of Post Falls, ID; his sister-in-law Ivey Slaney of Post Falls, ID; and his granddaughters, Jessi Anderson (Jason), Lisa Ventimiglia (Tommy), Sarah Heath (Jason) and Taylor Casteel. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and numerous special nieces, nephews and cousins.
