Norma D. Heinitz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 98, Norma D. Heinitz of East Helena, Montana, born in Iona, Idaho passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma D. Heinitz to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Norma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Norma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George S. Walker and MayBelle Eggleston; her husband Vic; her daughters, Vicki and Shari; and her daughter-in-law Melanie Heinitz.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Heinitz of Helena and Jennifer Opie (Beau) of East Helena; and her brother Ray Walker (Sharon) of Hermiston, Oregon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM. Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (4225 Bobcat Dr, Helena, MT 59602). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ammon Cemetery.
