He is survived by: his sons, James Jr., Nicolas and Elliot; his parents, Santiago Gonzales and Annie Mendez; and his sisters, Yvonne Gonzales and Suzanne Vitela.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Irenaeus Catholic Church (5201 Evergreen Ave, Cypress, CA 90630). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (8301 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647).
