He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elton Dana and Ella Dana; his siblings, Dorothy Ann and Richard; his former wife Frances Goldsby; his close friend Glenda; his wife Brenda Browning Dana; and his children, Ann Diaz (Pete), Daniel Dana Jr., Glenn Stewart (Kateryna), Del Stewart, Cordell Stewart (Noy), Wendy Ware (Dave), Dane Stewart (Frieda) and Rhonda Bender (Robert). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following charity organizations: Teton Antique Steam and Gas Association, Dupuyer Community Club, or the Parkinson's Foundation.
