He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hollister Clute and Marie Clute; his siblings, Robert Clute, Harold Clute Sr. and Marjorie Gilson; his daughter Barbara Asbury; and his nephews, Clint Clute and Kelly Gilson.
He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Tollefson; his wife Flora Clute; his daughters, Sherry Cayko (Nick) and Bonnie Jo Meier (Daniel); his brothers, Wayne Clute (Jean) and Keith Clute (Sharon); and also, Harold Jr., Brett, Clint and Margie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
