He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Peterson and Elvin Peterson; his daughter Shirley Foster; and his brother Donald Peterson. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Richardson; his wife Pat Peterson; his children, Doug Peterson (Deanna) and Janine Hale (Jeff); his son-in-law Joe Foster; his grandchildren, Dale Peterson, Darby, Sam Peterson, Holly, Ben, Sam Hale, Allyson, Molly and Katie Foster; and his brother Marvin of Minden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
