He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Young and Donna Young. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Kory Ann (Colin), Ben (Stevie), Ray (Jamie), Josiah (Nicol), Seth (Emily), Daniel (Natalie) and Katy (Roland); his brother Bill (Sherry); and also Rae Jeanne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
