Lois Hammer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023, Lois Hammer of Dillon, Montana, born in Soldier, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Hammer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Norby and Sarah Norby (Rustin); her husband Bill Hammer of Lead, SD; and her siblings, Agnes, Marjorie and Gerald.
She is survived by: her friend Norwegian (Ron Loge); her son Eric Hammer (Sandra McIntyre) of Dillon; her grandchildren, Maren Miller, Anna Miller-Sherman (Michael), Colin Laughlin (Nicole) and Kyle Laughlin (Beth); and her great grandchildren, Magnus, Bjorn Sherman, Grace and Emerson Laughlin.
A celebration of Lois' life will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, July 20 (time to be determined) and memorials are preferred to: the family (c/o Eric Hammer, 2200 Carter Creek Road, Dillon MT 59725), First Presbyterian Church of Dillon (24 South Pacific Street, Dillon MT 59725), or Beaverhead County United Way Backpack Program (BUW.org).
