He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowry Thomas and Lizzie Barnes; his wife Willodean; his siblings, Don Barnes and Beverly Mayfield; and his son-in-law Gary Lively.
He is survived by: his friends, TLee, Dick McCracken, Stu, John Burwell, Dick Warren and Bill Rule; his children, Robert Barnes (DaNeil Reynolds) of Dillon, Ray Barnes (Ruthie) of Dillon, Tom Barnes (Cindy) of Dillon and JoAnn Weststeyn (Robert) of Melrose; his grandchildren, Jason Barnes (Tara), Tyler Barnes, Tamara Kuhlman (Scott), Stacey Meneses (Danny), Josh Weststeyn (Olivia), Jennifer DeJong (Chad), Jana Barnes (Walker Paul) and Brett Barnes (Ali); his great grandchildren, Brendan, Rylee, William Barnes, Hunter, Logan, Tymber, Ridge Barnes, Kash, Karli, Kassidi Kuhlman, Weston, Tyge, Dani Lu Meneses, Reese, Alexis Weststeyn, Colbie, Cade, Walter DeJong, Simone Grace, Brynnlynn and Davin Barnes; his sister-in-law Rhio Barnes; and his cousin Earl. He is also survived by married they returned to Tennessee, Mom staying with her parents and Dad.
