Clifford Shipp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifford Shipp (Dillon, Montana), born in Mineola, Texas, who passed away on December 18, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil Shipp and Inez Shipp; his wife Mary Jane McCoy; his children, Faith, Joseph Michael (Lesa) and Elizabeth (Katrina) of Johnson City, TN; his grandchildren, Ben (Amanda), Emily Nelson (Dane), Kloee Midkiff (Austin) and Guthrie (Ashlee); his brother John (Betty); his nephew Paul; his niece Adrienne Rhoads (Colin); and his cousin Jonathan W. Shipp of Payson, AZ.. He was also cherished by eight great grandchildren.
Clifford remained in St Louis for six years, at which time he accepted an appointment as Dean of the College of Arts and Architecture and later Executive Director, Montana State University Foundation in Bozeman, Montana.
