It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Otte of Denton, Montana, born in Coldwater, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Otte and Valeria Otte (Giere); his sister Lorraine Knapke; and his nephews, Kris Eilerman, Chuck Goettemoeller and Monte Goettemoeller.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lois Eilerman (Mark) of Arcanum, OH, Carole Goettemoeller (Jim) of Denton, MT, Marilyn Mahoney (Jim) of Goffstown, NH, Rick Otte (Melissa) of Woodinville, WA, Mark Otte (Jill) and Greg Otte of Coldwater, OH.; and his brother-in-law Larry Knapke of Coldwater, OH. He is also survived by 11 nieces, 9 nephews and many great- and great great- nieces and nephews.
He also donated countless hours to the Denton Lions Club and was an EMT for the Denton Ambulance for decades.
