It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt Frederick Schatte of Cut Bank, Montana, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Esther Shortman; his children, Lova, Merle, Anita, Marlon and Brandi; and his brothers, Chris of Traverse City and Eric of Monroe, Michigan. He is also survived by three nieces.
