She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle George; her parents, Ralph Hitchcock and Esther Hitchcock; and her brothers, Jack, Glen and Gene Hitchcock.

She is survived by: her children, Kay Raynor (Steve) of Aiken and Thomas George (Tari) of Waterboro, ME; her grandchildren, Raleigh, Jon, Jeanette, Esther, Lyle, Mike, Luke, Virginia, Danny Heather and Hillary; her great grandchildren, Kevin Aaron, Araya, Brendon, Spencer, Izzy, Kate, Clara, Logan, Olivia, Julian, Keanna and Thea; and her siblings, Ray of Seattle, Dennis (Char) of Prescott, AZ and Verna of Havre, MT..
