He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Thompson and Matilda Thompson (Flakne); his sons-in-law, Keith Laborde and Robert Broadhead; his siblings, Nels Jr., Eugene, Eddie, Melvin, Dorothy Clark, Irene Nordstrom, Viola Grimes, Mabel Sherman and Gladys; and his grandchild Jullian Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rost (Elizabeth); his daughters, Janice Laborde and Julie Broadhead; his brother Richard Thompson (Joan); and his grandchildren, Tiffany Laborde, Theresa Hol (Phil), Terrance Laborde (Rio) and Carlisle Thompson (Jamie). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
