Walter Waite Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2020, at the age of 94, Walter Waite of Conrad, Montana, born in Stanford, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn Waite of Conrad; his children, Christine Sims of Missoula and Lance Waite of Spokane; his stepson William "Billy" Herlson of Brady; his siblings, Donald Waite of Lewistown, Robert Waite of Moore, Heather Fellows of Choteau and Gloria Miller of Lewistown; his daughter Diane White; his brothers, Darcy Waite and Rene Waite; his parents, Charles Waite and Eileen Waite; and his former spouse Marketta Winn. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As president of Montana's 4-H Local Leaders Association, he was one of the founders of the Montana 4-H Foundation.
