He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Hammerbacker and John Hammerbacker; his stepfather Ralph Carlston; and his siblings, Jo Blansfield, Jerry Nyberg and Dick.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Harvey; his children, Scott and Randi Eppe; his granddaughters, Nicki and Allana; his great grandchild Zoee; and his sister-in-law Misty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
