He is survived by: his wife Carol Engel; his children, Eric Gunderson (Paula) of Choteau, Kirsten Lathrop (Derrick) of Wahpeton, ND and Cara Gunderson (John) of Denver; and his grandchildren, Michaela, Garrett, Blake, Carter, Claire, Kale, Elena and Marit.
