He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Bruner and Lizzie Bruner (Raty); his grandson Garrett; his former wife Barbara Berland; and his siblings, Linda Bruner Curtis, Douglas Bruner and Rodney Bruner.
He is survived by: his sons, Brad (Nancy) and Scott (Heather, family: Farm, Conrad); his daughter-in-law Nancy; his wife Marla; his grandchildren, Allison Bishop (Ross), Meghan Bruner, Gatlin Bruner and Bridger Bruner; his stepchildren, Nikki Brummond (Andy) and Gary Wagenseller (Jenn); his grandchildren, Rachel, Eric, Laura Brummond, Joely and Tripp Wagenseller; his sisters, Sharlin Arnst (Jack), Dorothy Perkins (Earl), Myrna Monroe (Vern), Patricia Lewis (Joe) and Alethea Woelich (Lyle); and his siblings-in-law, Trudy Bruner, Debbie Bruner, Cora Lou Remus (Ed), Donna Smith (Randy), Don Berland (Cyndi), Robert Berland (Karen), David Slezak (Zerelda), Roger Slezak (Diane) and Sharon Slezak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
