She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Gordon Beal and Lucy Jane Williams Beal; and her siblings, Harold Flint Beal, Fred Marshal Beal, Clifton "Pete" Junior Beal, Margie Beal Self, Flona Beal Shaw and Carolyn Beal Peeler.

She is survived by: her son Timothy William Shytle (Anita) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Brie Erin Shytle, Ryan Timothy Shytle, Kia Leigh Shytle, Zachary Michael Shytle (Mary Elaine Shytle) and Stephanie Lauren Shytle; her great grandchild Marshall Maddox Furr; and the father of her children William Robert Shytle (Sandy) of Lenoir.
