He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Bonsness and Anna Bonsness; and his siblings, Byron Bonsness, O'Neil Bonsness, Jerry Bonsness, Virginia Anderson, Mona Kvemum, Karmen Kihle and Sharon Lautenschlager.
He is survived by: his brothers, Delwin Bonsness and Douglas Bonsness. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
