He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid Hjulstad and Elsa Hjulstad of Box Elder, MT; his grandson Jacob Young of Boise, ID; and his nephews, Steve and Mike.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Joe Young; his wife Michele Barrett Pepper; his stepchildren, Mark Pepper of Columbia Falls and Monica (Joe Young) of Boise, ID; his grandson Joshua Young of Boise, ID; his great grandchildren, Laydn, Colt and Nala of Horseshoe Bend, ID; his sister Kari; his brother-in-law Jim Ray of Irrigon, OR; his nieces, Jamie and Shelly; and also Joe Young.
