With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Roy Flansaas of Columbia Falls, Montana, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Andrew Flansaas and Helen Lucille Flansaas (Brown); and his sister Donna. He is survived by: his wife Madge Flansaas; his children, Donna of Saratoga Spring, NY, Patty of Arlington, WA, Robert of Marysville, WA and Joe of Connersville, IN; and his siblings, Luella of Columbia Falls, MT, Dorothy of Kalispell, MT, Karen of Anchorage, AK, Robert of Trout Creek, MT and Jerry of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Columbia Mortuary (1010 4th Ave W, Columbia Falls, MT 59912). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to "3 Rivers Ambulance" and "Bad Rock Fire Department.".
