He was predeceased by: his father Dwayne Nelson (Suzanne Nelson); his son Skylar Nelson; his sister-in-law Dixie Nelson; his parents-in-law, Louis and Frances Cestnik; and his brother-in-law Michael Cestnik.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Nelson; his brothers, Randy Nelson and David Nelson (Debbie); his children, Lacy Toavs (Mike) and Michael Nelson (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Ayla and Isaac Toavs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
