She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Askvig and Ella Askvig; her husband Dean; and her siblings, Fran Lee (Oliver), Della Nelson (Oliver), Ole (Norma), Jerold (Ardis), Loyd (Ora), Richard and Donald (Alrie).
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Byrd (Dawn), Dawn Baumgartner (Arlyn), Scott Byrd (Lori) and Julie Rasmusson (Kelly Vandemark); her grandsons, Dustin Byrd (Alix), Adam Byrd (Kara), Justin Baumgartner (Jessica), Tanner Baumgartner (Kristin), Casey Baumgartner (Erin), Stephen Baumgartner (Mckenna), Brad Clark (Jess), Elliot Rasmusson (Amee) and Nicholas Rasmusson; her great grandchildren, Kahlan, Kelci, Jamisen, Emersyn Quinn, Madisyn, Emery, Elina, Blake, Chareigh, Ryker Lola, Presley, Issac Tony, Lexi, Kashton and Karter; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Askvig Thiesen, Darlene Askvig and Lois Askvig.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (401 7th St W, Columbia Falls, MT 59912). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
