He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Susan Wagner (Barbara) and Jesse Orville Lawrence; his son David; his brother Paul; and his son-in-law Randy Bekkedahl.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Bekkedahl; his sister Shirley Cardew; his nephew Jim (Jose); his niece Tracy; his granddaughter Sandra Mallis (Nick); his great grandchildren, Max, Maya and Milo; his sister-in-law Barbara Lawrence; his nieces, Gayle Hoehn, Paulette Lawrence and Susan Weins; and his nephew Neil Lawrence.
