He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Duffy and Mary Duffy (Hrella); his wife Barbara Mergenthaler; his siblings, Catherine, Dick, Pat and Tom; his sons-in-law, Dan Stewart and Guy Knapp; and his grandson Eric Schillinger.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Schillinger (Dale), Joan Stewart, Bill Duffy (Dan Benz), Jeff Duffy and Dan Duffy; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joel, Tim Stewart and Heather Schillinger (Corinne Brown); and his great grandchild Cannon James Schillinger (Melva Miller). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
