He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold and Mary Abbie Van Auken (Morey); and his sisters, Verna Huidekoper, Doris Jardine, Avis Inbody (Helf), Eyvanna Connole, Evelyn Hoxsey and Haydn Hertlein.
He is survived by: his significant other Therese Toeckes; his sons, Dennis (Susie) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Dick (Dianne) of Fairfield, MT; his sister Jean DeRusha of Great Falls, MT; and his brother-in-law Albert Toeckes (Margaret) of Climax. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
