He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Carrie; his father Jack; his sons, Ross Salmond (Sandy) of Choteau, Mark Salmond (Mary) of Choteau and Brent Salmond (Lori) of Forsyth; his grandchildren, Jimmy Salmond (Jeff Salmond), Chandler Salmond (Molly) of Chester, Celie (Molly Salmond) and Elliot Salmond (Emmet Salmond); his great grandchildren, Jace, Kooper Salmond of Choteau, Bennett and Beckhem Salmond of Chester; his brother Jack Salmond of Bigfork; and his cousins, Dick Stenson of Choteau and Dorothy Weist of Choteau. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren.
