He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Plachetka and Christina Plachetka (Mislevecek); his wife Stella Wedum; his daughter Wendy Wedum; his grandson Logan; and his siblings, Paul Plachetka (Jan), Ed Plachetka (Carol) and Helen Miller (Ed). He was also cherished by many nieces; nephews; and their children.
