It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma Layton of Chinook, Montana, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nekolae Nilson Leom and Anna Marie Amundson Leom of Bonetrail, ND.; her husbands, Elmer G. Muncy of Chester and Curly; and her siblings, Agnes Cushing (Alfred), Marie Marden (Darrel), Nina Verhasselt (Frank), Kenneth Leom and Arne Leom (Kathy).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Muncy of Chula Vista, CA, Terry Muncy (Yong) of Great Falls, Cheryl Muncy of Chester, Bryan Muncy (Sandy) of Salem, OR and Lyle Muncy (Mary Jane) of Caldwell, ID; her grandchildren, Teresa Muncy (JT Barnes), Megan Stewart (Nick), Nick Muncy, Monica Muncy and Min Ha Muncy; her great grandchildren, Ryker and Hendrix; her sister Sylvia Jones (Gary) of Kaysville Utah; and her sisters-in-law, June Haupt and Lois Leom. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bethel Lutheran Church, Joplin, MT, the Liberty County Community and Senior Center of Chester, or to donor's choice.
