Hattie Bretzke Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2021, at the age of 95, Hattie Bretzke of Chinook, Montana, born in Harlem, Montana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hattie Bretzke to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Fouts and Stella Fouts (Lewellen); her husband Richard A. Bretzke; her children, Sherry Bretzke, Beverly Winchell and James Arthur Bretzke; her great grandchild Ryder Allen Howie; and her siblings, Tom, Jerry Fouts and Marjorie Eckberg.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Hinkle Heavey (Jim) of Havre, Richard Bretzke (Linda) of Northport, AL, Melody Bretzke of Great Falls, Leo Bretzke of Havre and Leta Nelson of Chinook; and her sister Cora Belle Dvorak of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was proud of surviving COVID 19 during the Fall of 2020.

Hattie's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to Sweet Memorial Nursing Home for the Employee Appreciation Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
