He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Speakthunder and Kenneth Dean Cochran; his siblings, Gary, Dawn Michelle and Myrna "Minnow" Cochran; his uncle Dean Speakthunder; and his grandparents, George, Evelyn Speakthunder (First Raised), Kenneth "Sonny" and Myrna Cochran (Flying).

He is survived by: his nephew Cody, Jr.; his niece Codalin; and his siblings, Nicolette Longfox Adams (Cody, Sr.), Thompson "Geese" Speakthunder (Janelle), Robert Longfox, Sterling Longfox and Kenneth Parker Cochran (Crystal). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
