It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Joseph Skierka of Chester, Montana, born in Fort Benton, Montana, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skierka and Bernice Skierka; his wife Teresa O'Neill; his brother Vincent; and his grandson Mark Lightner.
He is survived by: his children, Damian (Tiffany), Paul Skierka, P. V., Laura (Jim Lightner), Stephen (Lisa), Monica (Matt Ayres), Rebecca (Luke Sherman), Marie Colette, F. M. (Clare), Lawrence (Katrina), Bernadette (Andrew Dube), Susanna (Ethan Schoech), Mary Martha and Gregory (Regina). He is also survived by 56 grandchildren; 6 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome for Masses for the repose of his soul.
