He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles Gardipe and Juanita Susan Pellew; and his stepfather Harold Kent. He is survived by: his siblings, Scotty Gardipe, Charlene SiJohn (Jim), Bruce Gardipe (Eve), Linda Moulton, James Gardipe (Rose), Marilyn Gardipe, Bernadette Atwin (Tim) and Sylvia Aimsbeck; and his nephew Russ Burland. He is also survived by thirteen children.
