He was predeceased by: his wife Leah; his parents, William Earl and Ella Sheumaker; and his brothers, Benjamin and Willis.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Sheumaker (Patty) of Charlo, Michael Sheumaker of Pablo, Jay Sheumaker of Polson and Val Hertz (Chris) of Charlo; his stepchildren, Val Frisk (Tom) of Charlo, Jeff Ogden (Kim) of Leavenworth, KS and Ken Ogden of Olympia, WA; and his siblings, Dorris Moody (Chuck) of Depoe Bay, OR and Jim Sheumaker (Charlotte) of Ronan. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
