He is survived by: his sister Carol Kienenberger (Dean); his children, Joseph Von Stein (Shelley) of Big Sandy, Steven Von Stein of Cascade and Jill Howard (Trent) of Mandan, ND; and his grandsons, Cutter Howard, Holden Howard, Reed Stein and Rhett Von Stein.
