He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lila Clark and William Burton Slaughter; his uncle Johnny Huffine (Huffine Lane); his son Chuck Slaughter; his sister Charlene McCall; his parents-in-law, Art, Howard Van Noy, Lee, Sharon Berger and Bob McCall; his daughter Sheryl Mayo (Larry); his grandchildren, Keanne Lambertson (Michael Canup, Jr.) and Kendra Carlson; his daughter-in-law Julia Hardy Slaughter; his grandchildren, Aubrey Jade Slaughter (Matthew Miller), Kirsten Lynn Slaughter-Rice (Steve Rice), Kade Matthew Slaughter, Jordan B. Slaughter and Kyle McClynch Slaughter; and his great grandchildren, Bryn, Isla, Madeline Miller, Julia, Dillon Rice and Charlie Slaughter.
