She was predeceased by: her parents, Croatian and Peter; and her sister Rose Stimac. She is survived by: her brothers, Peter D. Stimac of Butte and Victor M. Stimac.

As mobility became a challenge for Vi, getting around was more and more difficult for her, but she remained faithful and loyal to several charities with donations right to the end.
