It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Joseph Lowney (Butte, Montana), who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Joseph Lowney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Lowney and Margaret Lowney (Rock); and his siblings, Margie (Ross Richardson), Billy, Jim and Jack (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, Colleen, Wayne Harper (Tawni), Ross and Sheila Richardson; his sister-in-law Carmen Lowney; and also, Frankie, Rylie, Rykker, Grier, Mazzi, Wynne, Taye, Mattox, Rial, Ridge, Addison, Mya, Grace, Sarah, Leah, Ross, Rhett, Mack, Andrew, Sam and Max. He is also survived by niece, nephews and their spouses.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Patrick Catholic Church (329 W Mercury St, Butte, MT 59701). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (329 W Mercury St, Butte, MT 59701). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4700 Harrison Ave, Butte, MT 59701).
Memorials may be made to the Butte Athletic Council, 1303 Caledonia Street or to a charity of the donor's choice.
