She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Sidney L. Groff Retired (Sid); her son Byron C. Seybold; her stepchildren, Wesley "Scotty" Hunt, Joh Groff and Shelby LaDon Sullivan (Hunt); and her sons, Clyde Seybold and Wesley William Hunt.
She is survived by: her sister Louise Shafer of Dillon Montana; her children, Delbert Hunt (Kathy) of Dillon, Marvin Hunt (Stacy) of Helena and Dr. Michelle Hunt Olsen of Springfield, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Clari Ann Olsen Bahr (Brandon) of Carrollton, Nathan Hunt (Sara) of Dillon and Kayla Dorwart (Cole) of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Emma Lee, Landon Bahr of Missouri, Logan, Layne and Isla Dorwart of Colorado; her stepdaughter Billie Oliver (Tom); her stepgrandsons, Tim Miller and Steve Miller (Debbie); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kelsey and Jacob Miller.
In addition, Shirley donated countless summer hours in Virginia City working to restore clothing.
