We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 57, Shane Ahrens in Butte, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson RaJay Ahrens; his stepfather Steve Fenske; his uncle David Bohn; his aunt Sheila Klosterman; and his grandparents, Milton, Laverne Bohn, John "Jack" and Hattie Ahrens.
He is survived by: his parents, John Ahrens (Shirley) of Lidgerwood, ND. and LaRae Odegard (Bohn) of Fargo, ND; his fiancé Dorlayne Johnson; his children, Ian (Emily), Jordan Ahrens of Minneapolis, MN and Chloe Ahrens of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Taraj, TaJay, TyMeir, JahMai and Liam; his siblings, Shannon Fenske, Fallon Fenske (Chris Torkildson), Karissa Goodrich (Aaron) of Kasson, MN, Jason Ahrens of Bismarck, ND, Justin Ahrens (Lindsey) and Jesse Ahrens (Danielle) of Wahpeton, ND.; his nieces and nephews, Emma, Kyler Torkildson, Madison, McKinley Torkildson and Jailyn Schneeklolth; his aunts, Bonnie Hauschild (John), Carol Evans (Josh) of Andover, MN, Becky Pausch (Merlyn) and Joanne Nigg (Bill) of Browns Valley, MN.; his daughters, Heather Anderson (Corey) of Fergus Falls, MN and Ashley Andel (Ken) of Valley City, ND; and his grandchild Henley. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home (224 6th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58074). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
