He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Lyons and Arlene M. Lyons (Evans). He is survived by: his children, Brandon Lyons of Butte, Angela Lyons of White City and Rich; his daughter-in-law Josie Lyons of Hayden; his granddaughter Hailey Lyons; his sisters, Linda (Greg Paull) and Nadene Lisac of Butte; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Jake Harrison and Jordan Paull; and his cousin Debbie Witham of Helena.
