Richard Anthony Roche Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Anthony Roche of Butte, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Roche and Agnes Roche (Harrington); and his siblings, Connie (Darrell Gaffney) and Thomas W. Roche (Rosemary "Ro" Roche). He is survived by: his daughter Mary; his wife Joan Clare Roche (Olson); his children, Maureen (Roche) and John Tomich; his grandchild Ryan Tomich of Butte; his children, Montana, Michael Roche, Florie Janacaro of Butte, Patrick Roche and Faith Le; his grandchildren, Audrey Roche, Joe Roche, Vicky Coulter, Aubrey Ho, Jayden Ho of Lynnwood, Mary (Roche) and Mike Phillips of Fallon, Nevada.; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry (Mary Lou Olson) of Springfield, MO and James (Nancy Olson) of Mishawaka, IN.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (2100 Farragut Ave, Butte, MT 59701). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Butte Central Foundation, Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice.
